General description
The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher with a PhD in Organic Chemistry to carry out research in the group of Dr Marcos García Suero. The researcher will work in the discovery and development of a new catalytic borylation strategy and on its application in the synthesis of libraries of antimalarials agents.
This position will be funded by the Becas Leonardo a Investigadores y Creadores Culturales 2019 of the BBVA Foundation.

Responsibilities
- Discovery and development a new catalytic borylation strategy and on its application in the synthesis of libraries of antimalarials agents.
- Writing reports, preparation of scientific articles, and presentation of results in group meetings and conferences.
- Maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Complete documentation of research results.
