The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Suero research group. This position will be funded by the State Research Agency/Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation through the Proof of Concept call 2021 (PDC2021-121180-I00).

ICIQ is committed to performing excellent research at the frontier of knowledge in the broad area of chemistry (Catalysis, Artificial Photosynthesis, Activation of Small Molecules, Photovoltaics, Functional Molecular Assemblies and Chemical Biology, from either theoretical or experimental perspectives). Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Researcher in Organic Chemistry to work under the supervision of Professor Marcos García Suero for a period of 10 months. The project will exploit and develop a proprietary technology of the Suero laboratory for solving important problems in synthetic and medicinal chemistry.

Responsibilities

• exploitation and development of a proprietary technology of the Suero laboratory.
• Writing reports, preparation of scientific articles, and presentation of results in group meetings and conferences.
• Maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Complete documentation of research results.
