Mauro was born in Latina, Italy. In 2013 he graduated in organic chemistry at Sapienza University of Rome, where he is doing his PhD under the supervision of Dr. Marco Bella. Fascinated by the amazing chemistry done at ICIQ, he is spending six months of his PhD in the group of Prof. Melchiorre.
Mauro is also part of the Italian scout association AGESCI and he loves reading and hiking.
